NEER Welcomes Elissa Friedman as Head of Film and Television

NEER has welcomed Elissa Friedman as its new Head of Film and Television.

Named one of Variety Magazine’s New Leaders in Film, Elissa is a film and series executive and producer. From running creative businesses, to strategic development and execution, she brings with her over fifteen years of industry experience. She is based in New York.

“Elissa is an impressive leader who has already proven her ability and vision to take NEER films to the next level.” said Brent Mata, founder of NEER. “We are beyond excited to see her partner with our incredible roster of artists.” Elissa will work alongside NEER Partner Chandra Feltus and Director of Sales Malin Stenborg to continue to build NEER’s presence in Film and Television.

Before joining NEER, Elissa worked for QED  and Covert Media. She is known for her work as a producer in films Ophelia (2018)  and Rock the Kasbah (2015).

It felt like an opportunity I could not pass up.” Friedman said. “I am excited to work with Chandra, Brent, and everyone at NEER to establish NEER Films as a leader in film and series production.”

Elissa has joined NEER during a time of growth as the team expands. In the recent months, NEER artists have received multiple awards for their films, and have been showcased in numerous film festivals around the world.
